Who are we?
We are a community of Christian Believers who are committed to the glory and worship of the God of the Bible and His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, believing the Bible to be the Holy Spirit inspired, authoritative Word of God. We believe in the careful study of the Scriptures in light of its original languages and historical context, teaching and applying its message for living in today's world. We gather at the Salisbury Girl Guides Hall to worship the Lord, with prayer, reverently singing His praise with traditional hymns and choruses, and through the study and preaching of the Word of God.
We are committed to sharing the "Good News" of God’s salvation with everyone. This Good News is found in the Bible which tells us that Jesus Christ is God, born as a man, and that through His death and resurrection we have the way to be forgiven for our sins. Sin is the natural bent in us all to be disobedient and rebellious to God. Sin separates us from Him.
The Bible tells us that God so loves us that He made it possible, through Jesus Christ, to be peace with Him. What sort of people are we?
New Hope Bible Church is made up of a small group of ordinary people from a wide variety of backgrounds doing all sorts of jobs. We are mums, dads, and family members, young and old. No matter who you are, we’re sure you won’t feel out of place.
